We've included a super cool new option for tuning the transcoder (seen below in the screenshot). The selection influences how much CPU the transcodes use, and the resulting file size. Plex Media Server 0.9.9.3 is now available to Plex Pass holders.
Some tasty stuff in this release! The new Scheduled Tasks feature (Plex Pass only) gives you a way to keep your server running in top shape. While you sleep, it's busy backing up your database, optimizing it, and making sure all your media is in perfect shape. This minimizes or eliminates the amount of on-the-fly media analysis and such we need to do, which can make browsing quicker and your entire server run more efficiently during the day, when you're using it :) This release also includes some important security fixes.
Edit: You need to use the https://plex.tv/web Plex Web App to access the new Scheduled Tasks settings
