Plex missing tv episodes, and mislabeling ones it does find

I’ve recently been ripping my Blu Ray collection into my drobo Plex server and every movie I have ripped has shown up, but only 3 out of about 50 tv show episodes have shown up. All of the files are in the same parent directory, and all processed in the same way.

So, 1) how can I figure out why these files are getting ignored?
And 2) there doesn’t appear to be a “fix match” option on tv episodes, so how can I correct this? It this a file named “33” is episode 33, not an episode named “33”

Server Version#: 1.15.6.1079

Yes my server is out of date, the last time I tried to update it it completely stopped working and I had to reinstall.

If you’re using TheTVDB.com to grab metadata for you be aware that their service is intermittent at best just now. They’re having issues.

What do you mean by that? Also how did you name your TV episodes?

What I mean is my media is stored all under /path/Media. TV is in /path/Media/TV//, and for one series the episodes are named by season and episode number followed by the episode title, ex. 0101 - The first Episode. The others are named just by the episode title. No rhyme or reason which ones get picked up and which dont. In the numbered series it picked up two episodes in the middle of the list to show, in another it picked the first episode.

You are not naming your media correclty.

Huh, I didn’t realize the scanner was that sensitive. To FileBot I go…

Don’t forget to tell Filebot that you are using Plex and not Kodi: Plex naming schemes for FileBot
