No player control in photo album view
What player controls do you mean? To switch photos, you swipe the screen.
Not op, but I think I know what they mean, as I have the same issue.
On the newest Android mobile version, and just updated to the latest Plex server version for windows.
Google pixel 3 running latest version Android 11 version.
On a personal video, you have the initial play button, and I think repeat and shuffle buttons. After you start playing, the menu where you can pause and see the remaining time and skip around no longer pops up when you tap the screen. Any ideas why?
Exactly as rickrolled stated above. Play controls for videos in the photo album no longer appear.
Ah, videos inside a photo library. Gotcha. I can reproduce, looks like a bug. I’ll let the team know. Thanks for the report.

2 versions after this has been reported and it’s still not fixed
BUMP!!! This makes the Photo libraries unusable. Please fix

8.24.1 started rolling out last week and should have gotten to all users by now.
On 8.24.1 .24893, same issue for me. Anything special that needs to be done for it to work?
I think I saw an update for pms on the server actually. I’ll update that and report back.
Oh sorry, got my issues mixed up. The missing controls while viewing videos from a photo library still has not been fixed.
