I have a lot short-movies and Concert in my Mediathek. Most of them the new Plex Movie Agent can’t match them because they are not in Databases. I’d like the Option to setup a second Agent for those movies or to add the information from. Alternative the possibility to enter the Infos into a .xml or a .nfo would be great. In this case i can use the .nfo from Kodi
You can manually match those using any available agent for that type of library. For movie libraries you can alternatively ypick from The Movie Database, Plex Movie (legacy) and Personal Media Movie.
There’s already an existing feature suggestion to support local metadata (e.g. from .nfo
files).
Therefore… is this still a thing?
Hey Tom,
thanks for the Message. It does not work. I use the third party Agent from GitHub - gboudreau/XBMCnfoMoviesImporter.bundle but even with Match - Search and change the Agent the search result is there, but it does not really import the Informations from the .nfo.
In combination with the XBMCnfoMoviesImporter I can let the MediaElch (https://mediaelch.de) sort my Files and add a .nfo with the Infos, Poster and Backgrounds it scraps from several databases. It works really fine.
I wanted to change to Plex Movie Agent because of the integration of Tidal, the reviews and the better recommendations to other movies (similar movies, movies with…)
I think for me, it makes no sense to change. I’ll try it again when the .nfo integration will be implemented
I learned you’re indeed right… so my initial comment was too optimistic
You mean, this is a bug?
