Plex Music: Is there a way to tell Plex to not include certain albums or songs in the Library Radio or When you Shuffle?

Server Version#: Version 1.19.2.2737
Player Version#: Version 4.34.2

So, simply put, in iTunes there is a uncheck and check function in the library. Checked songs get played, unchecked songs don’t get played. Doesn’t matter if you shuffle or put them in a list, those unchecked songs just don’t get played.

Is there something similar in Plex Music? There are certain albums and songs I am encountering way to often in shuffle and I was wondering if I could just uncheck them so they don’t pop up anymore.

Or is there any other way to do this without to much of a headache? I don’t want to have to create a whole bunch of custom playlists.

Any recommendations would be nice.

Thank you

Change their rating down. (the “stars”)

Check that these are not the only tracks you have by that particular artist. Add some more for greater variety.

If your collection of songs is several thousand, consider changing the hidden server preference RadioDaysSinceLastPlayed to a longer period than 2 days.

Very cool. Thank you.

One more question. Is it the same effect if I rate the whole Album? Instead of track by track? I noticed the album can get its own star rating separate from the individual tracks.

I assume yes? That way if I get sick of an entire album of b sides or something I can just rate the album instead of each track one by one.

Sorry, no. Only Track ratings are automatically taken into account.

Artist and Album ratings can only be used with smart playlists/filters.
