Hi, I was tagging and loading in music files today using beets and saw that Plex wasn’t recognizing some of the albums’ posters (or suggesting the wrong ones) so I went out and found them and manually updated them on my Plex server.
Is there somewhere I could upload those posters to so that when the next person tries to load the album in their library it finds the correct poster that I found? Does Plex have it’s own music database it pulls metadata from or does it use a service like Last.fm by chance?
Plex primarily gets metadata, including posters, from MusicBrainz. If Plex is getting the wrong poster, it could be because it finds the wrong match on MB, or MB has wrong information. This Help page gives some advice:

Setting up a musicbrainz account is free and easy you can add artwork and add other metadata. The more who contribute the better for the community
I recently discovered musicbrainz and used it to add metadata for an EP that wasn’t being recognized as one. MB itself took some getting used to but once I was done, I was happy to see the EP in the correct section with the metadata about who performed on each track and that sort of thing available.
