Plex No Longer Auto Updating Library

Up until recently my plex server would see changes then update. It no longer does this. I’ve waited hours and still nothing.

My current setup is as follows.
1 Plex Server on windows 7
All up-to-date both plex and microsoft updates
The plex is connect to my FreeNAS via UNC path. \FreeNAS\folder\movies .It only updates when I run “Scan Library Files”.

My Plex Settings:
Both Options Below are checked. Tried Unchecking partial scan, still not updating.

  • Update my library automatically
  • Run a partial scan when changes are detected

HELP!?

From Plex support:

If you have this option enabled and library scans don’t happen automatically, automatic updates may not be supported on your operating system/filesystem and you may wish to use periodic updates instead.

I also remember reading a while back that automatic updates only work with a certain number of files on some OS’s. It could be that you passed the maximum number of files in your libraries for your system.
