Hi all ,
I have been running Plex for about 6 months with no hassles whatsoever.
I use Plex through a Mac & the AppleTV app.I am currently running the new 1.0.0.2261 server version.
Plex had always automatically added my movie/tv show files to the Plex library as soon as they stopped downloading.
Last week my mac started playing up & I factory reset it (to no avail with fixing the initial Mac problem).
After this I had to re-install Plex & servers.This is when I noticed My downloaded files were not being automatically
added to library.
Now I have bought a new Mac ,installed Plex & server and still the same thing.
I read on the forum about de-selecting the (Update my library automatically) Button & then selecting again.
I have tried this & problem still persists.
I also read here about naming my library folders correctly (This confused me more) as I had never had to name Library folders before & it worked perfectly, adding movies to movies folder ,tv shows to tv folders & also adding metadata correctly.
Can someone please help me ,

Did you saved the settings after each step?
Yep ,saved them.But still nothing.

Note: In most cases, this should work for content on local filesystems. It will generally not work for network shares mounted via SMB, NFS, AFP, or similar.
