Just noticed when I add 4 movies my media folder that PLEX did not automatically update and add them to the library. I tried manually updating the library and again the files were not added? Any ideas? First time I’ve encountered an issue with PLEX.
Without any details, I can give you only this:

What details would help you with my issue? PLEX was been installed and working with out issue since day 1. It has always auto updated or allowed me to manually update to find any new content that I have added. Noticed today it isn’t updating. I’m running PLEX server Version 1.2.7.2987

Plex Server is 1.5.x for stable or 1.7.x for Plex Pass. Would you verify the version again? Also, if your naming isn’t correct, it might have worked perfectly until suddenly it didn’t.
Currently running PLEX Server Version 1.2.7.2987
File naming is as PLEX guide: Media/Movies/Avatar (2009)
If you are running 1.2.7, you are very much outdated. A mandatory update was issued for 1.5.1.
Mandatory update notification: https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/268072/plex-media-server-1-5-1-and-plex-media-player-1-2-4-or-newer-are-mandatory-updates
I understand I’m behind on updates as I wasn’t a fan of a few of the “Features being add/removed” on some of the updates. Doesn’t explain why it stopped, but I’ll update now and see if the library updates.
Hahaha…found the issue…ME! I forgot to convert movies with MakeMKV. I just copied over my videoTS/audioTS folders to the PLEX library folder…That’s what I get for trying to rush this when the kids give me 10 minutes of alone time. Thank you for your fast and quick responses
