Plex no longer playing my lossless audio

I have a folder titled ‘Lossless Audio’ full of all my music, ranging from regular FLAC to 24-bit lossless FLAC. It all played just fine about a month ago but I noticed that certain albums wouldn’t play, and just thought maybe the computer needed a restart. Now some of my favorite albums aren’t playing! I have attempted to re-add the folder several times and the audio refuses to play. They play in other audio players such as VLC and foobar2000 and have even played in Plex before, but now they completely refuse to play.

Anybody else having this issue? How do I fix this mess?

Edit: Just made it easier for the devs. Opened Plex Media Server fresh, tried to open a 96KHz FLAC file which failed, then closed Plex Media Server. Here is the resulting file:

What client are you using?

Can you post the media info of a file that won’t play and the actual error you are getting.

The log file will help too.

Updating to the latest Plex server and Plex clients should re-enable playback of regular CD-quality Flacs.
Playback of higher quality Flacs are yet to be repaired through a Plex server update

If you experience playback issue even with CD rips in Flac format, make sure to report them and include the Plex server log and the client log too.

Updated original post, see above

Thank you for the server logs. But they don’t contain any clues as to what failed.
Please fetch client logs too.

Here is the client log attached.

What kind of client is this?
Android? iOS?

Web client

The client log file you posted doesn’t look like a log from the web client. How did you get it?

I got it straight from Google Chrome, that’s quite strange… I’ll take a closer look in about an hour, I’m on remote desktop from my phone right now.

Ah, I think I got it. This is from the javascript console in Chrome.I totally forgot about it.

Here’s another log through Chrome.

No problem!

I reported your issue to the developers.

Last question: did you run the Chrome browser on Windows 10 too? Or was it on a different platform?

Yeah, I’m running the latest version of Windows 10. If you need any other information just let me know, I’m happy to help!

My 96 KHz audio seems to be working now  Thanks!
