Not to long ago we could play everything on Plex. now it wont play WAV & FLAC files through anything on my network. Computers, Roku 3, Roku Express, Roku Stick, Samsung TV. Wont work on any of them. All will only play MP3 files. As most of my music is ripped from my CD collection Plex music has become virtually useless!! This is a relatively recent development.
Not sure what’s happening. I just loaded a WAV to my music library and it plays with my computer browser, desktop PMP, my Nexus 6P phone, and on my Shield TV. What version of the Plex server are you using?
I’m using Version 3.7.0
No updates beyond that. I am up to date.
That’s the web client version. Check again for the Plex Server version.
Please provide your logs from PMS after trying to playback.

It seems to try and play a song for a second (with no audio or a sometimes a single note) then it moves on to the next.

Close Plex Server, wait one minute, start Plex Server, wait two minutes, reproduce the issue, wait 30 seconds, then download the logs from the server settings → help, download logs. Attach them to your next post.
Okay. Here it is.
So… I loaded the server logs as requested and didn’t hear from anyone again. Is there no one out there that can help? No rep of plex? No one with any suggestions? Or is it just that I have to resign myself to the fact that I just can’t play music on Plex anymore.
Sorry for the late response. Your PMS logs do not indicate any issues, so the problem is on the Roku end. Can you recreate the issue and grab the log from the Roku.
