I am running Plex Media server 1.23.2.4656-1 on a linux server
I have several Amazon Alexas Echo Dots in various rooms of the house, which are used by various members of the family and they are all using the same Alexa account and the same plex account.
Until fairly recently we could all play different playlists / music on different alexas at the same time
but now if I have a playlist playing in my study and then my wife starts another playlist playing in the kitchen for example, my playlist stops playing at the end of the currently playing track (or sometimes it plays one more track before stopping (the next track already buffered perhaps))
At times in the past we have had at least 4 alexas all playing different music at the same time, now we seem to be stuck with only one playing at a time.
The first time i noticed this was after the recent announcement about a new alexa client for plex which supported direct playing of flac files, but it may have happened before this and no-one noticed.
Has anyone else noticed this ?
is it a regression brought on by the latest alexa plex client ?
What can I do to get them all working again
