Yes indeed, it’s much less work than the manual way… when it works. :stuck_out_tongue: And in fact it is working but is doing the 32-bit instead of the 64-bit.

Are you trying this on a Windows 7 machine? If so, it will never work with 64 bit.

Windows 10 here :slight_smile:

So currently I have to:

  1. See notification that new update is available
  2. Download update
  3. go into <Plex Media Server Folder>\Updates and find update
  4. Install update
  5. Restart PMS

This is in comparison to what I used to do on x86:

  1. See notification update is available
  2. Download update
  3. Install from same web screen (Plex would handle the rest)

So I reverted to x86 and that seems to fix this issue.
