salve ragazzi, dopo avere effettuato l’aggiornamento il mio plex non funziona più… o per lo meno funziona tutto tranne la riproduzione dei video sia in locale sia su chromecast che su xbox 360…qualcuno ha avuto la mia stessa esperienza? Il fatto anomalo e che mi dice “impossibile riprodurre il file” anche se provo a farlo partire in remoto, mentre sull’app di windows 10 mi dice che devo attivare la versione a pagamento per poter riprodurre i video…non saprei cosa ho potuto modificare visto che almeno a livello di impostazioni non ho toccato nulla…grazie in anticipo a chiunque mi venisse in soccorso.

Ciao, da quello che ricordo, se non sei utente Plex Pass, utilizzando l’app ufficiale, puoi guardare solo qualche minuto di un video, poi devi sbloccare l’applicazione pagando una cifra che va intorno ai 5/6 euro. Oppure appunto prendere un pass che ti permette di fare anche altre cose tra cui l’accesso remoto.

il problema come ti dicevo e che non riproduce i video…li ha sempre riprodotti c’è qualche configurazione che è cambiata? per quanto riguarda le app ok…lo sapevo ma adesso anche con il plex pass non mi funziona nulla, mi fa vedere le locandine dei film, le foto, anche la musica la riproduce sul server ma i video no…i film mi dice sempre “impossibile riprodurre questo filmato”…
Ok. Che files sono? Avi, MKV… che codifica? h264… quanto grandi sono? Sai anche il bitrate? Certo che se anche il pc non li riproduce con un normale vlc, beh… il problema non e’ di plex.
Buongiorno premetto che questi file solo con plex in locale non partono…sono circa 150 film che fino a prima dell’aggiornamento ho guardato su plex migliaia di volte…li legge qualsiasi altro lettore media plyer, vlc, qualsiasi tranne plex in locale…la cosa più assurda è che fino a qualche giorno fa funzionava tutto ad una velocità impressionante, ADSL 20 mega, roter TPLINK, Acer Aspire 8gb di memoria…diciamo che i presupposti ci sono tutti, credimi non so dove sbattere la testa, xchè seriamente non capisco perchè fa in questo modo…stasera posso mandarti una foto del problema?

Sisi, tranquillo volentieri.
Dal tuo racconto mi vengono in mente alcune cose. ADSL 20 Mega per uno streaming remoto… uhm… la banda in upload (che e’ quella che serve) e’ molto bassa, potrebbe essere questo un problema.
Tuttavia si parla di riproduzione locale.
Non sono molto esperto di log, ma potrebbe essere interessante vedere i log di Plex per capire cosa gli succede quando riproduci un filmato.
Ripeto, non sono esperto di log, ma se aspetti un attimo, mi informo su dove trovarli cosi’ li puoi postare qui.
In generale posso capire che in remoto sia ostico, ma in locale… hai perdite di segnale o se sei cablato, hai pacchetti persi?
Te lo dico perche’ ho dovuto cambiare il mio server per problemi alla scheda di rete. Perdevo 3 pacchetti su 5.
Allora i log li trovi in : %LOCALAPPDATA%\Plex Media Server\Logs\ (windows) o ~/Library/Logs/Plex Media Server/ (osx) o $PLEX_HOME/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Logs/ (linux/nas).

Purtroppo da questi log non si capisce niente. O meglio, pare che sia il log del server che, pare (lo ripeto) si comporti normalmente.
dato che avrei dovuto aprire un topic con lo stesso titolo scrivo qui come da regolamento… a me dopo l’aggiornamento non mi legge più le librerie… i film che sono sul pc non me li rileva per niente
