Plex not adding library from NAS (Windows) - what am I missing?

Hello - newbie question.
I just installed Plex Media Server (v1.41.8) on a Windows 10 PC.
The Windows PC is on a wired Windows network.
There is a Synology NAS on the same network with a shared folder of DVDs that have been ripped to disk. The Windows user used to install PMS has access to the folders on the NAS.
In PMS, when I try to add a library named Movies and type in the path to the folder ,e.g. \\10.0.0.215\video\movies, PMC acts like it’s scanning…something, then comes back with
“Movies” is empty.

Can someone please explain what I am doing wrong?

Cheers.

What does this mean?
If these are ISO images of the DVDs/BRs, or VIDEO_TS or BDMV folders, then Plex won’t read them.

The DVDs are ripped to a separate folder (per DVD): 12 Angry Men\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_0.BUP, VTS_01_0.IFO, VTS_01_1.VOB, etc.

Ok, RTFM…

Thanks for the links.
