My Plex Media Server is run by my 2017 Nvidia Sheild TV. The files (TV Shows & Movies) are on a 4tb hard drive connect to my ASUS AC1900 Router. I seem to have issues every month or so with the server crashing and having to re-add all my files. Because of that I moved the hard drive which was previously connected to the shield itself to the router. Once I made the move, everything was working well, until a couple of days ago. Now when I try to add the libraries again the Movies library doesn’t even give me an option to find it. The TV Show library is up and running. Both TV shows and Movies are on the same hard drive but under separate folders. I’m not sure what’s stopping me from adding the Movies.
You can see in the first screen shot where the TV Shows has the correct location.
The Movies, however starts at /sdcard and won’t allow me to search anywhere else. I’ve even tried to use the same location as the TV shows but add Movies to the end and nothing shows up.
What am I missing?
