Recently, I had to reinstall Plex on my asustor server, but since then, I’ve been experiencing issues accessing my Plex library.
Initially, my browser displayed the error ‘Can’t Connect to the Server.’ Following advice from an online thread (since it’s challenging to find Asustor-specific help for Plex issues), I removed the ‘library’ folder of Plex. This was supposed to resolve the issue.
When I attempt to access my server and open Plex via incognito browsing, I receive a message prompting me to log in normally and start the setup. However, after completing the setup, I get the same ‘not authorized’ message.
I contacted Asustor support, and they suggested that there might be leftover Plex files causing the issue despite a clean removal. Following their advice, I removed the Plex folder. After doing this, Plex worked, but only connected locally via VPN and not outside my network.
The Asustor employee recommended reinstalling Plex and restarting the server. Unfortunately, after doing so, I am facing the same issue again, where I cannot access my own server.
Could you please provide further assistance on resolving this issue?
