Trying to add Flight of The Conchords - Live in London as a TV special. I have tried both a folder named specials and season 00. I have named the file according to the Plex support article (Flight of the Conchords - S00E04 - Live in London [1080p]). I am using TheTVDb as the agent. So it should be S00E04. Plex does match it to the show, but it names the episode ‘Deleted Scenes’, which isn’t even an episode listed on TVDb.
Are you sure you are not using themoviedb or have that with higher priority within tvdb? Deleted Scenes is episode 4 of specials there https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/2742-flight-of-the-conchords/season/0/episode/4?language=en-US
I typically do use themoviedb, but I specifically switched the library to use thetvdb for this show, since moviedb lists that special as a movie, not part of the show. I also cleared all the agent data from the cache.
go the epsiode in the web app. “get info” from the options menu then “view xml”. In the xml there will be a GUID that indicates which agent it uses for that show. that looks like this guid="com.plexapp.agents.thetvdb://80252/2/1?lang=en"
if you normally use themoviedb and only want one show to use a tvdb then instead of changing the library agent, do a “fix match” on the show and choose “search options” and select tvdb in the agent drop down to do the search and it will use that agent instead instead keeping the rest the same.
