hey everyone, plex wont play the movie but if i navigate to the movie from a computer and play it directly in windows it works just fine. not sure what to do. thanks
Provide more details as to when it works and doesn’t work. Playing thru wich app or client, etc.
i try to open a movie over plex with my tv using plex app it doesnt load it just sits with circle going, same thing when i try to open the movie using a web browser on a pc, but if i go directly to the movie from the pc and open it with vlc player it works just fine. happns with some movies
If it happens with some movies, maybe it’s in a different format than the ones that work. Compare them or look at the details and see if they are the same or not. For the problematic media, are you able to play it on Plex Media Player on you pc? Maybe the tv can’t handle the format of the problematic media. I’m not good with logs but can post them here and I’m sure someone can give more details of the issue.
