Hi. Windows 10 laptop Movies & Tv On Plex won’t play. Ok on other devices. Ive been trying to figure out why but failed. I’m a noob so please be gentle

How would I know that? I installed the windows 10 desktop version. Apologies I’m completely new to plex

That link on my browser gives me the plex logo that goes off and leaves me with a black blank screen

Nope nothing like that. I can play recommended web shows, Headlines and Podcasts but not the Movies & TV. It was fine until I upgraded to plex pass. Should I uninstall and reinstall everything on my pc
Playback of On-Demand video has nothing to do with anything installed on your PC. So re-installing won’t change anything.

Did you disable DRM/Widevine support in your web browser?
Can you watch Netflix or other video subscription services in this browser?
Are you using an anti virus which intercepts encrypted communication? Try switching this off for testing purposes.
Yes I can watch other on demand video from netflix etc on the same browser. No I haven’t disabled Widevine. I have the app plex tv opened on my mobile device. All plex media plays ok on this and my android box. app plex tv in explorer windows desktop comes up blank black screen immediately after loading plex logo. I have no anti virus VPN etc only window defender
Are you trying this on a mobile browser exclusively?
Or are you saying that it does work in your mobile browser, but not on a desktop browser?
No not exclusively. Mobile is successful. It does not work on desktop explorer browser

(Chrome, Edge, Firefox…)
