Plex not playing some videos

Some videos are playing, others are not.

Of note, I see

EAE timeout! EAE not running, or wrong folder? Could not read '/tmp/pms-ef2173e4-752b-4b22-8d23-30c753e22915/EasyAudioEncoder/Convert to WAV (to 8ch or less)/m6sj9bj7qddnjxvcga8ep7j2_14677-1-3.wav'

When I look in that folder, I see ekwr2tpsqfibu7yxzkjue7c2_16437-1-19.ec3

I’m running Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS and Plex Version 1.9.5.4339

I’m not sure if the above issue is the reason it’s not playing.

After waiting a while and canceling playback, Plex tells me “Playback Error Conversion failed. The transcoder crashed or failed to start up.”
