Plex NOT respecting scheduled task settings. Keeps spinning up disks. HELP

Newer logs, please?

Are you still running 1.40.0.7998?

No. I’m on 1.40.3.8555

I’m gonna change the scheduled tasks time for now and collect the logs!

Should I enabled the bottom one as well?

Plex Logs Jun 14.zip (4.4 MB)

Between 7am to 8am is the scheduled tasks time

@Atomatth any updates?

Sorry, I meant to at least mention that we have an internal issue filed for this. We have your logs and a Ninja who is also observing this issue, has provided additional details for reproducing the issue. I think we have all that we need. No ETA, unfortunately.

Thank you. At least it’s acknowledged! Appreciate your time!

@Atomatth is there any update on this? I’m having the exact same issue, but mine is also not respecting the end time and once the scheduled maintenance runs, it pins on of the cpu cores at 100% and constantly keeps the disks spun up until I restart plex.

It’s also worth noting that the dashboard shows no activity.

I’ve tested with moving the scheduled task window and the disks spin up and stay spun up at the given time I select.

Yeah, sounds similar. Nothing new to report on progress. :bowing_man:
