Hi, I am running Plex Server Version# 1.40.4.8679 on a Synology NAS DS1520+ operating under DSM 7.2. It has video media only, both movies and TV shows, but no music.
The scheduled tasks are programmed from 2:00am to 8:00am. They start at 2:00, but they don’t stop at 8:00 and go on during the day and stop randomly. Why?
I’m not sure what the server is doing exactly. I have not scheduled any transcoding. How can I know whether it is creating previews, thumbnails, detecting credits or other? The Plex transcoder takes 25% CPU usage for most of the day and I would like it to stop. Thanks!
