hi
forgive me if this has been asked already i am a complete newbie when it come to plex and fire stick. i got a brand new amazon fire stick today and downloaded plex. however it wont open and keeps saying ‘unable to start due to an error’ any suggestions as to how to fix this problem?
What error does the firestick give you?
Did you setup the Plex Server, create at least one library and put any media in it? Can you connect and play this media through the webpage?
Assuming you have a Plex account set up, I find that if you got to Settings>Applications>Manage Installed Apps>Plex>Force Stop and then launch it again that usually works. Not sure why it fails periodically. Mine seems to do it if I hit the fire stick home key by accident then rapidly open Plex again. Hope that helps you.
