If you are not running Plex Notify on the Machine That PMS is on you need the Login information to verify you have access to that Plex Media Server (in theroy). If you dont have the login information filled out, Plex Notify will still try and get the Now Playing data. If this comes to not be true I will rip it out, I put it in purely on the assumption of what I read from documentation. I do know you need to be logged in as a Plex Pass user on any plex media server you are trying to get information from.
Emails are there as a future enhancement. I was just future proofing the database.

Yes IP logging is not implemented yet, but, it will be in the application within the week.
So I updated to alpha 4 to do a few quick fixes to some crashes and added and about page to the settings to see the release notes. The application has Auto update you can try it, Its in the settings page on the title bar if you are currently on alpha 3.
Also note to self, add a notification for updates available to the application.

So it shows the movie my friend watched at 5 and the ones i watched at 0. Friend has the samsung app, I am using PHT.
Is there a way to install this on another drive? My PMS isn't located on the C: drive and it's throwing this error:
The referenced assembly is not installed on your system. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800736B3)
At least I think that's the problem.
Can you send me your log file? Also I can certainly incorporate that. It needs a windows phone notification solution.
To get your logs, go into settings then click Logs at the top on the window bar.
Also what version of plex media server are you running?

I'm not sure how useful logs are for you given that i've not got anything set up (as there's no app for WP8). Running 0.9.9.0 and it would be great if you can incorporate pushalot for us WP users!

Pushover notifications do not appear to work though. Nothing happens when I click on test pushover after entering user key, or after starting a movie (i got the toast message locally though).
My bad, didn't create app key... all is working great!
Also, clicking on the "Log" button causes application to crash... Where are the logs stored?
Update: Found log directory under programdata, and it's empty... probably a permissions issue.

Humm I thought I fixed that log bug. If it's crashing it's because the application has not logged anything yet.
Also to get a certificate for as a certified publisher it costs like 200 usd I just use a personal one.

Nope sorry the click once installer framework from Microsoft does not allow for that. It sounds like your missing a reference. Make sure you have .net 4.5 installed on your system

In my case when checking for updates and update it, after it mentions it needs to restart the app and I respond YES, it doesn't close and opens it a second time (need to close both then reopen it).
It did this last two updates....
