Plex as media software on a TViX A6500M
Hi.

Have see Plex software on a Mac Mini and WOW i love the solution....
I have a TViX A6500M, is it possible to installe Plex on that so i use plex as
media software/navigator on the TViX A6500M !??

If Yes how do i do it !?

Plex only works on Intel Macs with Mac OS X 10.5 (and partially 10.6).
If you have such a Mac, and your TViX supports some kind of popular sharing protocol (like SMB for example) then you could mount the TViX on the Mac and use it as source.

Hmm ok damn…then i need to buy a Mac Mini then…



Ok then i will see if the mac can work together with a DS207 II from synologic.

It works very good with Synology products. I have the 409+ and it works like a dream (well at least after hard entering the user and password in the "sources.xml" so I do not have to manually enter them every time I want to use those sources).
