Hay guys, I have this device thing thats basically running android lollipop with connection to my TV to make it a “Smart TV” i guess.
Before I used to have plex plus and used to use the android application for my phone, which worked fine, but I noticed was definitely not setup for remote control use.
Anyone know if the current Plex for android has a remote control TV view on it, or a way to change it so it works for a remote based controller?

I cant answer your question but looking forward to what you find out. I am going to be picking up an android tv box with remote to get plex on it. I will use plex for recorded tv shows back to my plex server but use Kodi and NextPVR for live tv (plex works too but kodi/nextpvr should give better wife happiness).

Cheers for the info mate, unfortunately I’ve heard nothing so far, either from Plex or here, but I did find that Kodi has a Plex addon which isn’t too bad. I see differences now and then to the episode order list, but easier to move around in then Plex at least for me.
Kool to hear about NextPVR though, I’m going to try installing it on kodi today and see how it works on it, love to get live tv running on kodi.
