Plex media center remote

Hi you wonderful guys, Im starting to move from Kodi to Plex Media Center. I love the design and the fact that its linked to my account. But where Im hesitating, is that kodi has a Remote for quicker and faster way to select movie by just scrolling and when youre ready, you click on the movie.

I use both of the ios and web app. I was thinking that it may be very cool to have a way to manage them from another pc or fun. Something thatll be cool is to have the standard plex ios application with a way to manage tv and media center around the home.

I searched and couldnt found nothing so im giving the suggestion if anyone is like me.

What you’re talking about already exists.

I run Plex on a home server that’s hooked up to the television in my bedroom, and I have OpenPHT (an open source version of Plex Home Theater) running on it. With that open, I can use the web interface on my laptop, or the Plex app on my Android phone to remotely control the Home Theater application.

The web interface you pretty much have to just select what you want to watch and hit play, but with the Android app you can do that, or you can just use the widget to hit arrow button to actually remotely control it, more like you would a television.
