Server Version#: 4.54.5 on Synology NAS

This just started a week or two ago, about the time I updated the PMS on my Synology NAS. (But the problem is occurring only on my Android tablet, so maybe that’s just a coincidence.)
When I open up Plex, it generally shows the last thing I was playing in a narrow window at the bottom of the screen. Usually, if I hit the little play button in that window, it picks up where I left off. But now what’s happening is that it starts playing at the beginning of the movie (even though it showed the correct position in the progress bar in that little window).
I just did some experimenting, and it still works correctly if I go to the movie’s main title page, where I have the option to click Resume. But that little mini-player at the bottom of the screen has stopped working correctly.
Thoughts?
