Plex on Google TV (TCL) – thumbnails missing in home recommendations

Hi,

On my TCL Google TV, Plex app works perfectly inside (all thumbnails show). But on the Google TV home screen recommendation row, items from my local Plex Media Server show no thumbnails (blank placeholders).

  • Online Plex content does show thumbnails.

  • PMS version: 1.42.1.10060 (Windows 11, latest).

  • Tried: reinstall app, update server, enabled Remote Access (green), changed DNS to 8.8.8.8/1.1.1.1, cleared cache/data (Plex + Google TV system apps), restarted TV.

  • Issue started recently; used to work fine.

Looks like a bug in Plex → Google TV Home integration.
Anyone else seeing this? Any workaround?
