Starting an hour ago, my plex crashes when I try to go to a show’s episode. It was working few hours ago, I was able to watch some stuff. The weird thing is that I am able to browse and watch something on a friend’s server, but when I browse mine, it crashes. I also am on another server which also crashes. So 2/3 server browsing makes the app crash.
This is happening on nvidia shield, as well. If your TV gives you the ability to uninstall updates for the Plex app, that allows me to start using it again (but it looks terrible).
I’ll try downloading an older version and see how it goes
Edit: tried earlier version and still crashed.
Same issue here.
With my account it crash when i select a content. Tried on Firestick and Sony TV.
Tried with other home account and everything is fine.
Was watching stuff without issue 4 hours ago and that suddently happened.
Hoping for a fix soon. In the meantime the we can use the “Guest account” workaround
