Is it possible to load plex on a MAG256 for playback only, not the server part. Can’t seem to find any information on the forum

What is a MAG256?
If it is an Android device, then no - Plex Server for Android is only available on the nVidia Shield.
Looks like it’s a Linux box. For client only, I’m pretty sure OpenPHT supports Linux. Not sure about the Plex Media Player.

That means it is running already some kind of IPTV client software.
I am unsure how PMP or OpenPHT could tap into it.
If you can get Kodi to run on it, then you could maybe use the Plex4Kodi Add-On.
