Plex on my amazon firestick?

Hi Guys/Girls,

Can i sideload Plex on my amazon fire-stick firstly please and if so what is the latest download for it?

Also can this be put on without it updating automatically, because i have seen people say that when it updates some of the settings disappear so need to set up again?

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

You can load the app normally from the Amazon Store and save yourself a lot unnecessary pain and suffering - saving the pain and suffering until you actually start using the app.

After you get it installed you’ll really want those updates, 'cause if you’re like the rest of us we still hold out some dim hope that one day The Plex App for Amazon will actually work and we’ll never know if/when that happens if we don’t get those updates.
