Has anyone used the plex on the netgear nighthawk X10? I bought it but ended up returning it because I couldn’t get it to work properly. You have to have a USB drive hooked up to the router but I couldn’t sync my movies from my Webster Digital Mycloud so there wasn’t a way to get new movies on the hard drive. Anyone have any suggestions
Im not sure if Webster Cloud is a thing, do you mean Western Digital My Cloud? if so then this should be supported now.
I have the x10 and the latest firmware I just updated to allows you to add mapped network drives from your NAS or PC/MAC/Linux box, I don’t know what the transfer speeds are on the built in USB 3.0 but this router has some ridiculous specs, so it would choke every ounce of speed from your NAS device, it supports LAG as well, so if your NAS has 2 x gigabit ports, you can connect both and get almost double the throughput.
