So i’ve had a QNAP NAS for 2 years now. Plex has never done a good job of refreshing when I add new movie files to my NAS, so i have to go to the folder view, which also doesnt sort by date added - is that too much to ask ? After spending 30 minutes trying to find manual refresh settings on Plex Media Server, i’ve given up, and resigned myself to going onto Plex and being disappointed, again, to see the movies i just added on the NAS not appearing on the TV, then going into the QNAP File directory from my TV and finding them there - and no, i don’t have a frigging Plex Pass nor do i intend to buy one.
Maybe try this post and check your iNotify value…
Just for “S&G” , what version of PMS are you using? 0.9.x.x ?
i’m using Version 1.10.1.4602. have hundreds, not thousands of directories so can’t see how this is an inotify issue.
