Plex on Synology keeps stopping

Need Help. I have plex on my Synology server and its always running. About 2 to 3 times a week it just turns plex off. I am not sure what is going on but I have to go into the Package Center and run Plex again.

Thank you. I will look at permissions however I can say that this started when I did my last software update for plex.

When I try to download the file from q28 i get the error " Oops! That page doesn’t exist or is private."

I am still having the issues of where I find Plex stopped in my package center

I do have exactly the same problem since last update of Plex. Synology seems to stop PMS from running and I have to restart it manually from the package center.

I am having the same issue since Plex updated to version 994 where I had to change permissions. Constantly getting yelled st by my family members as it randomly stops at different times.

I have already received assistance but crash logs show nothing yet it still stops running. Very frustrating.

I am glad it is not just me having this issue.

The crash was within a Gracenote module relating to refresh of metadata for a specific album within the Premium Music Library. The crash was at 04:58 am on 10th June

Previous crashes in this module from this server were on 1st June at 03:11 am and 31st May at 04:16 am

Are these crashes all within the Scheduled Tasks period?

You could disable the refresh meta data scheduled task

If the crashes persist, you could try to create a standard music library and see how that goes

At the time of the crash - these were being refreshed

Tasks are set to 2am and 5am so that sounds about right. I will make some adjustments and see if that will stop it from crashing. Thank you
