I’m considering purchasing a Thecus W5810 as a NAS for my home network. (I already have PLEX running on a Windows 7 x64 , and Plex does just find on that system)
The Thecus W5810 runs Windows Storage Server 2012 R2 Essentials on a dedicated 60 GB SSD
I don’t see this NAS on the

Some Specs on this NAS:
Intel Celeron J1900 Quad-Core SoC
4GB DDR3
HDMI out.
I’ve read on some sites, that you can install programs on this Windows Storage Server 2012 R2 Essentials OS.
Benchmark for this CPU comes in at an ‘average’ of 1860 per:

So I’m wondering if installing PLEX on this NAS / Server makes sense or not.
Has anyone ventured into installing Plex on an ‘underpowered’ Nas such as the Thecus W5810?
Thanks,
Stephen
