Tivo has released developer tools so now you really should be able to put Plex on Tivo:

any updates on this?
will a client only work on US TiVo or will it be compatible with the UK Virgin Media TiVo boxes? (same Cisco hardware, but apparently there are sometimes firmware / software restrictions to using US TiVO apps).
As far as I can tell, no one is actually working on plex for TiVo.
