Hi peeps.
Im running a machine running W10 & Docker for Desktop. It is in linux mode running a plex container.
I have apple and android devices which can see the plex server, but I have a windows machine which cant.
I can ping the windows machine hosting the plex container, as well as access shared drives etc via windows explorer.
The ip address of the container running plex is 172.17.0.2, I can not ping this address though.
app.plex.tv on the computer trying to see the plex container does not work as ive turned off access remotely. With remote turned on the comptuer can see the plex server, but only remotely, useless being on the same network.
So im trying to work out how to get my computer to see the plex server container.
My setup.
IP address of the host computer is 10.0.6.60/24 gateway 10.0.6.1
IP address of the computer trying to access is 10.0.6.66/24 gateway 10.0.6.1
In order to get the plex server running, i used portainer to set it up.
I had to use manual network port publishing
Its also running in bridge mode, the docker documentation notes that host does not work in windows - Host network driver | Docker Documentation
I tired host networking and it doesnt work. No ip address is issued or ports opened up.
These are also my env variables.
Most of these were setup my lscr.io
In the plex settings under network, i have also added the below:
Is there anything that im missing or any tips that I can do to get my windows machine to see the plex container as other devices can?
