Hi,
I just installed plex on my Xbox One. Everything works fine but whatever I play, the screen will dim after 3 minutes, if left like that, after another two the screen goes black. If I pause/resume or click anything on the controller (or voice commands) the brightness goes back to normal. I can't find any settings on plex for this.
Help! :)
I'm in the same boat, the Xbox One Netflix app doesn't seem to have this same issue. Back to my Chromecast until this is sorted, I guess.
I had the same problem today. Deleted the app and reinstalled to fix it.
Same here, i think it was included in the last update.
I'm also experiencing the same thing. This is a thread on Reddit about this as well - multiple users all having the same issue. No plasma tv yet the screen dims every few minutes and you have to perform an action on the controller for it to stop. Any word on if Plex is looking to resolve this ASAP. It pretty much makes the product useless for the Xbox One.
If you guys posted in the correct section you would find that there are quite a few threads and a developer requesting information.

Oh, you mean like the line you cut out of my quote? I'm confused where I was being a ■■■■■■■■, when I said that you should post in the right place or when I went to the direct link and put it in my post so you could go straight there?
Get over yourself, you took it how you wanted to (incorrectly by the look of it) and got butt hurt for no reason.

To badfrog and adamskoog, what most people forget is that there is no "vocal tone" to text. So what seems to you badfrog as a smartass comment may have been a honest attempt to get the info across and adamskoog you need to remember that the tone in your head when typing may not (and probably won't) be what is recipricated in the readers head. Heck, the stupid arguments my daughters get into when texting is so funny sometimes. THIS is not meant as a smart ass reply just some friendly advice.
