XBOX One Acts Like it's not being used when playing video

I found that at 3 minutes of playing a movie the XBOX One dims a little... and a short time later blacks the screen out (audio continues to play).  Tapping the controller lights the screen back up.

 

I thought it might be my new TV - but Netflix plays videos without exhibiting the same screen dimming.
