Plex on Xbox Series X / Shield

Long story short I’ve been using Plex on my upstairs AppleTV its come such a long way I’ve decided to disconnect my PC from my main setup and use strictly plex instead of Kodi w MPC

I need a device that will do 11.1 channels supporting audio formats like DTSHD, DTS:X, Atmos - 4K, HDR, Dolby Vison.

From what I’ve been able to gather the Plex on AppleTV does not support audio Formats.

So from what iI know it leaves me with new Xbox Series X or Nvidia Shield or is there another box iI should be looking at instead ?

Does anyone know if new Xbox Series X supports audio formats via plex ?

If it doesn’t am i stuck just buying an Nvidia shield or will xbox continue to get support ?

Good question. Given that the Xbox One X can now handle DTS:X and DD Atmos (via some MS downloads), can PMS pass the audio stream straight through without transcoding so that the Xbox can handle the audio on its own?
