One feature I would like from the Plex Optimizer is to be able to scrub all the media in my library and convert files that are using older codecs to newer version. For example… If it finds a video with MPEG-2 it could convert that file to H264 matching the original quality. It would also be nice if I had an option to replace the original files after the transcoding is done so that I only have one copy of the media.
This would also be helpful for future use when upgrading ones library from H264 to H265.
