Currently having an issue we’re in the last month since the last windows server update paid users can no longer download content from my server. I have tried to un-allow the user and re add them under restrictions and this did not help. I have rebooted the server. I have run the diagnostics. Nothing has helped.
Running windows server 2019 with plex server version 1.25.3.5409.
If any one else is having simler issues on windows server version please let me know.
Which Plex client is being used?
Both are Lifetime Memberships. We have tried the online browser, Android App, as well as the app on TVs. I can only download my own content not other lifetime plex users servers. They also cant download off mine.
Anyway be aware that Downloads does not properly work. If you get something downloaded then after some time it will auto remove and with lucky will download again. This behavior keeps happening all the time.

The problem is that the option from the PC and server has been removed all together. Downloads can only be done via the mobile app. This was never the case. My brother who as a lifetime and myself would share content with each other through our servers. We no longer can do this and the only reason he got the lifetime is so that he could do the download through the Desktop and Server app. I am hoping they will fix it soon as it has been almost a year since it has been broken.
