Plex Pass and casting to Sonos

I have Plex server running fine. Purchased a lifetime Plex Pass and added my wife as a home user. I’ve enabled casting to Sonos with my account and it works but my wife cannot cast to Sonos with her account. She gets a message to upgrade in order to cast. Does she need a Plex Pass as well? There doesn’t seem to be an option to “activate” just her device for $4.99 only the subscription plans.

It is not possible for your wife to cast to the Sonos through the Plex app. The way the Sonos API is written, only the Plex account that the Sonos are registered to are able to cast. This is a limitation of the Sonos API.
