I have been using PLEX Media Server on my MacPro since last Novemeber. I have a giant iTunes library (7000K+ albums, 140K+ tracks), maticulously self curated and built over the past 15 years. All was perfect before I upgraded to a Plex Pass. After doing so, meta tagging is all messed up. Before Plex Pass, everything was tagged correctly in Plex, now more that 700 albums are tagged with “Verdi, Giuseppe (1813 - 1901)” as the Album Artist. None of thes albums are Verdi. These albums are all over the map genre-wise. For example, tons of Now That’s What I call Music! series albums; Soundtracks like “The Greatest Showman”, “Vox Lux”, “Mary Poppins Returns”; Star Trek and Star Wars albums. There are many other albums with missing or incorect artwork. The list of mis-tagged examples goes on and on. Yeah, great, I now have Lyrics, but the whole library which was perfect before Plex Pass is now unusable. I deleted the Library. I added it again with local metadata preference, but it came in the same way. iTunes remains correct, but Plex is a mess. WTF? I thought the Plex Pass would improve the experience, not ruin it. If this is what Plex calls Premium for subscription pay, and no solution can be provided, I’ll be canceling my Plex Pass subscription tout suite. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone solve it? Help. Thx
