So I found out this evening someone tried to steal my plex account. I was able to recover my account and change my password and stuff.
I guess the hacker decided to delete my friends list as my list was empty once I recovered my account, so now that I’m trying to add my friends back I’m not able to. The weird thing is my “former friends” still have access to the shares I OK’d before the hack. This would be great except if I ever decide to add a new library I have no way to share it with these people, or exclude friends that may abuse their access.
Even weirder is when my friends “re-friend” me all their previous setting are in place like they were never deleted.
HELP.
