Plex Photos - Can we hook into the Facebook API for facial recognition?

I have a very large collection of photographs and as well as photos in Facebook. I think it would be cool if we can use the power of facial recognition in Facebook to auto-tag or something like that in PLEX so we can see all the photos of a person that we have. I think it would be pretty cool. Not seen any discussion on that, but thought it was worth posting to see what others think.

The main reason I use Google photos is because they have facial recognition with advanced features (facial learning, search, filter, label, etc…). It would be awesome if Plex could provide similar functionality for photos. They’ve actually created a service for this that should handle all the heavy lifting - Vision AI | Derive Image Insights via ML  |  Cloud Vision API
