Plex PIN input doesn’t work in Chrome in iPad Remote Desktop

Interesting case here; PIN code input works everywhere except when Remote Desktoping from an iPad with the Microsoft RD client. Tried with both Chrome and Firefox, latest editions. To elaborate, I RD into my computer, fire up the browser, get past the login and when it comes to the PIN prompt nothing happens when I type.

Just for clarification…
that’s:

  1. you’re connecting from your iPad to the Windows server using RD
  2. opening Chrome on the Windows server (via RD)
  3. Signing into Plex Web (on that Windows machine?)

I take it you have not enabled Plex remote access or have issues to remotely access the Plex Media Server itself (hence the detour through RD?

Exactly that.

I have enabled Plex Remote Access, and I’m logging in via app.plex.tv on the windows computer.

Use case? Let’s say I want to use an image on the windows computer as the poster for the movie, then this is the only way, since the “choose an image” function will display the local file system of the iPad.
