RDP sign in problems - Ipad App

I am trying to use an Ipad Pro and RDP into my Plex Server ( windows ) from an IOS app, Microsoft Remote Desktop .
When I open plex and go to select user> administrator user, I can not enter the PIN any way, the box is ready for input but no keyboard strokes show the numbers.
